The official “Meet Larson” overview introduces Larson Conway as a mercenary working for Natla—and the first person Lara meets on her hunt for the Scion. Crystal Dynamics’ accompanying article focuses on his role in the story, Bradley Snedeker’s performance, and Larson’s dynamic with Lara; it gives only one specific gameplay detail: Lara gets Larson’s shotgun after defeating him.
Who is Larson in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis?
According to Crystal Dynamics’ October 5, 2026 official “Meet Larson” article, Larson is a mercenary working for Natla. He contacts Lara so she can begin her search for the Scion, making him the first face she meets on that hunt. Game Director Raul Siqueira describes him as “more of a brute” and says he is “in charge of contacting Lara so she can start her search for the scion.”
The official story description also says Natla and Larson intend to betray Lara. Larson works with Pierre Dupont, whom Siqueira calls his “partner in crime.” The article identifies Larson as one of the antagonists Lara encounters; it does not provide further plot details in this overview.
Who voices Larson?
Bradley Snedeker performs Larson Conway. Experience Director Jeff Adams praises Snedeker’s “swagger,” while also pointing to his on-screen chemistry with Alix Wilton Regan, who plays Lara. The trailer’s character framing leans into Larson’s gruff, confident manner rather than presenting him as a straightforward match for Lara.

Wilton Regan sums up that imbalance in the official article: “Larson thinks that he is my male counterpart, but he’s really not.” That contrast gives the overview its character-focused hook: Larson sees himself as Lara’s equal, while Lara’s performer suggests he misjudges the comparison.
What gameplay detail does the trailer reveal?
The companion article says that defeating Larson gives Lara his shotgun as a new weapon. Siqueira jokes, “Every game gets better when you get a shotgun.” The official description does not specify the weapon’s stats, how the encounter plays, or when it occurs, so those details should not be inferred from the overview.
