Black Friday 2025 is over, so the controller prices below are historical US deal examples—not offers you can assume are still available. Coverage published in November reported several PC and console controllers at or below $50, including options for Xbox, Switch and PC. The right pick depended on platform compatibility, wired or wireless setup, and included features—not just the size of the reported discount.

How to choose among the reported deals
Check platform compatibility first
The 8BitDo Ultimate was described as compatible with Switch, Switch 2 and PC, while the Ultimate 2 offer was for the PC-only version. Windows Central lists Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Android and iOS compatibility for the Xbox Wireless Controller. Confirm the exact revision and platform variant on a current product listing before buying; similarly named versions may not support the same systems.

- Compatible with Windows and Android.
- 1000Hz Polling Rate (for 2.4G and wired connection)
- Hall Effect joysticks and Hall triggers. Wear-resistant metal joystick rings.
- Extra R4/L4 bumpers. Custom button mapping without using software. Turbo function.
- Refined bumpers and D-pad. Light but tactile.
Factor in wired and wireless setup
Windows Central says the USB-C cable bundled with its Xbox controller offer enables wired PC play, while wireless PC use requires a separately sold USB dongle. For any deal, check the package contents and whether your preferred connection requires an additional adapter.
Decide whether the extras matter
The 8BitDo Ultimate’s reported charging dock and Hall effect thumbsticks may be useful if those features fit your setup. The Ultimate 2 coverage highlighted TMR sticks, extra bumper buttons and RGB lighting. Compare those features with the price and the way you play rather than treating a lower historical price as proof that one controller is best for everyone.

Compare dated prices, not expired discounts
The “was” prices in the table are comparison prices reported by the cited coverage, not a guarantee of a retailer’s usual price. Check the live retailer listing, seller, exact model, stock and current price before purchasing; none of the November 2025 figures should be read as a present-day offer.
What PlayStation’s official Black Friday page establishes
PlayStation’s Canada Black Friday page says, “Black Friday 2025 is now over.” It features DualSense wireless controllers and also lists DualSense Edge, described as an ultra-customizable controller for high-performance gaming on PS5 and Windows PC, and the Access controller, a customizable PS5 kit designed to help people with disabilities play more comfortably. The page does not substantiate a numeric discount for these controllers, so no sale price can be stated from it. PlayStation Black Friday 2025 deals.

What these examples can—and cannot—tell you
The reported offers show the kinds of tradeoffs available in the November 2025 coverage: a cross-platform Switch and PC option, a PC-only feature-focused model, wired Xbox/PC choices, and an Xbox controller with broad device compatibility. They do not establish which deal was the lowest available at every retailer, whether a deal remained in stock, or what any controller costs now. For a future sale, compare the exact model and platform fit alongside the connection method, included accessories and verified current price.
