No official or verifiable ranking of 25 top Roblox games for 2024 exists in the sources available. This guide is an editorially curated selection of 22 named Roblox experiences, drawn from Roblox’s own 2024 genre examples and a third-party 2024 roundup, and grouped by how each one plays. It is a retrospective. It describes what was popular and playable in 2024, not which experiences are still running, rated the same way, or charting today.
How this selection was built
The only ranked list we could verify for 2024 is a third-party roundup updated January 3, 2025. It describes its ranking as based on gameplay experience and popularity. Those are the source’s criteria, not an official Roblox standard. The roundup presents itself as a top ten, but the text available to us is missing a section between Five Nights TD and Fisch, so only nine of its entries can be named here, and we do not present them as its complete top ten.
The other entries come from Roblox’s July 2024 genre research, which names example experiences for each genre it describes. Those examples illustrate genres. They are not rankings.
Because no single source ranks Roblox games for 2024, we selected the final list against the following editorial axes:

Popularity was treated as a snapshot. Roblox’s live “Top Playing Now” chart shows the experiences with the most players online at the moment it is viewed, so it cannot establish 2024 standing. Roblox has also said it is changing how players find games: in its RDC 2024 announcement it wrote, “We’ve also begun to augment our algorithms with Today’s Picks (on the homepage and on Marketplace).”

Anime-themed action
The 2024 roundup lists these four titles. It does not give them a genre label in the text available to us, so the grouping reflects the anime-based titles in the list. Two dates from the roundup matter here. Jujutsu Infinite officially released in December 2024. Anime Adventures returned for the 2024 holiday season after a shutdown.

Check access and age rating before you play
- Cost: Roblox’s live chart FAQ says most experiences are free to play, though some require paid access. Confirm the access requirement on each experience’s page before you start.
- Maturity rating: Availability can vary with maturity ratings. Check each experience’s listed rating before recommending it to younger players.
- Current popularity: Concurrent player counts reflect the moment you check, not 2024 standing. Treat any present-day chart position as a snapshot.
- Availability over time: Experiences can close and return, as Anime Adventures did after its 2024 shutdown. An entry from a 2024 list may not be playable in the same form now.
- Newer releases: Some entries are recent. Jujutsu Infinite’s official release in December 2024 leaves little time for its 2024 standing to be measured.
The 2024 figures and genre examples above are fixed to their stated periods. Verify everything else, including access, ratings, and whether a title is still active, on its own Roblox page.
