The publisher’s announcement is a dated account of its release in 2020, not a current language or feature-status list. It said translations were being worked on at the time; that statement does not establish which languages are available now. Which difficulty option should you choose?
The release announcement framed the updated version as harder than the base game, while retaining a way to play the original. Choose based on the experience you want:

- Master Mode: the added option for players looking for a greater challenge. The announcement does not provide a numerical difficulty scale or a detailed list of mode-specific changes.
Critical Bliss explained its adjustment this way: “We felt that the base game was a bit too easy for some of you Steam veterans so both Tower and Sword has been upped a notch in difficulty.”

A November 1, 2020 publisher update reported controller problems and said keyboard and gamepad controls did not switch automatically. Its historical advice was to unplug the gamepad when launching if using keyboard controls. That is a dated support note, not confirmation that the same issue affects the current build.

Is Tower and Sword of Succubus a good fit?

The deciding caveat is its adult presentation: the Steam hub is Adult Only, and the publisher specifically describes uncensored CGs and animations. If you want a non-explicit game, this release is not a safe assumption.
