When did Towerborne launch on Xbox?
Towerborne entered Xbox Game Preview on April 29, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC through the Xbox app. Xbox also announced Game Pass access and a Founders Pack purchase option for players who were not Game Pass members at the time. This was an early-access milestone, not the full-game launch. Xbox Wire announced the Game Preview release on March 18, 2025.
The full game update became available on February 26, 2026. Xbox listed Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam, PlayStation 5, and Game Pass Premium and Ultimate as availability options. Xbox’s full-game announcement lists US launch prices of $24.99 for Standard Edition and $29.99 for Deluxe Edition. Those are launch-announcement prices, not guaranteed current or regional prices.
What was Towerborne’s Golden Week event?
Shiro’s Golden Journey was a Japanese-themed in-game event created around Japan’s Golden Week holiday. Xbox Wire announced that it ran from April 29 through May 13, 2025, adding themed quests, characters, and rewards. The event is over, so its limited-time rewards should be treated as historical rather than currently obtainable. Xbox Wire’s event announcement also said players could continue earning rewards after the event window and described an optional cosmetic bundle.
