Your team’s elements, roles, weapon investment, and preferred play style matter as much as a character’s tier.
How to read a Tower of Fantasy tier list
Players often search for the best characters, but Tower of Fantasy ties its character-like Simulacra to weapons. A Simulacrum represents a character and has an associated weapon; its passive effect is optional, while associated matrices are obtained separately. A tier is a quick editorial judgment, not a promise that a weapon will outperform every alternative in every team. Consider these factors before choosing:
- Element and compatibility: A high-tier weapon still needs to fit your team and the other weapons you can field.
- Role: Damage dealers, tanks, and Benediction/support weapons contribute in different ways. A support can raise team performance without topping a personal damage ranking.
- Field time: Some weapons need sustained time on the field; others contribute from off-field or help set up a teammate.
- Shatter and charge: The Index lists these combat attributes, which help distinguish shield-breaking and energy-building contributions.
- Execution and investment: Mechanical demands, advancement, and the resources you can commit affect how useful a weapon is for you.

That makes her a better fit for players prepared to build around a damage dealer who needs time on the field than for someone seeking a low-attention off-field contribution.

Version 6.3 introduces PvE changes that can alter what teams need. The official version 6.3 announcement, dated September 10, 2026, describes seasonal Evolution Frontier and Sequential Phantasm content, a Level 100 boss in Evolution Vanguard, a new Boundless Realm stage, and additional Bygone Phantasm levels. It does not rank weapons or establish that any particular SS-tier pick is best for those activities.

Use the general list as a shortlist, then match a weapon to the content and team you actually play. Shield-breaking, support, on-field damage, and off-field contribution can matter differently across encounters; the available evaluations do not provide activity-by-activity comparisons or comparative damage figures.
Can this tier list tell you the best PvP weapons?
Not reliably on its own. Pocket Gamer’s page addresses weapons and characters for both PvE and PvP in its headline, but the reviewed material does not provide a distinct, transparent PvP ranking or a documented mode-by-mode testing method. It is therefore not enough to assign PvP-specific placements or claim that a general SS-tier weapon is a proven arena pick. Treat PvP choices as unverified by this list rather than assuming its broad ranking applies unchanged.
