That is a guide’s editorial ranking, not an official or independently verified list. Another 2026 guide ranks several of the same races differently, so use tiers as a starting point and choose for your build and play mode.

Why other 2026 tier lists disagree
Destructoid’s January 28, 2026 list uses an SS tier and includes races missing from Pocket Gamer’s later list. It places Contractor in S, but Dragonic and Shadow in A; Reaper is C rather than Pocket Gamer’s B. The older guide also ranks Legendary Saiyan, Player, Ghoul, and Birkan in SS, and includes Mahoraga and Fallen Angel in S. Those differences are too substantial to combine into one supposedly authoritative ranking.

How to choose a race for your build
A tier only helps if it reflects the way you play. Compare the effect that matters to your build instead of treating an S label as a universal answer.

- Damage: Look for a multiplier that works with your build and the activities you play. Pocket Gamer describes Dragonic as a high-damage option; Destructoid reports specific multipliers for some races, but those figures are guide-reported mechanics rather than independently tested current values.
- PvP: Shadow is described as PvP-focused by Pocket Gamer. Destructoid reports damage immunity for Shadow; verify that effect in the current build before relying on it.
- Survival and sustain: Pocket Gamer characterizes Slime as tank-oriented and Vampire as a lifesteal option. Destructoid reports 10% lifesteal for Ghoul, but its older guide’s figure is not independently verified for the present version.
- Control: Pocket Gamer presents Angelica as a damage-and-stun choice, which may suit players who value control alongside damage.
- Situational utility: Pocket Gamer says Dullahan depends on day and night. It also describes Fishman as swimming faster and Sky Peian as gaining extra jumps; these are guide summaries, not current in-game confirmations.
Destructoid also reports Contractor triggering an explosion and heal every five hits. Because effects and balance can change, treat that as a claim from its January 2026 guide, not a guarantee about the live game. The guide’s Digital Content Producer, Matija Stojkovic, wrote, “Race power creep is more real with each update.” That is editorial commentary, not a developer statement.
Race rerolls and reported odds
Pocket Gamer says Race Rerolls may drop from the Exotic Chest after defeating Shadow Monarch. Its June 7, 2026 guide also lists a Store price of 45 R$ for one Race Reroll and 400 R$ for ten. These are dated guide claims: check the live store and current drop source in-game before spending, since current availability and pricing have not been confirmed here.

Destructoid’s January 2026 article reports examples including Player gaining a 0.04x damage multiplier per Arise System level, reaching 4.0x at max level; Ghoul with a 2.5x damage multiplier and 10% lifesteal; and Birkan with a 3.25x damage multiplier and 10% dodge chance. It also reports 0.005% odds for several exotic races. These numbers are reported game mechanics from that guide, not results from an independent study, and should not be assumed current without checking the game.

If you want a single starting point, use Pocket Gamer’s June 2026 list because it is the newest complete ranking located. Do not interpret it—or the older Destructoid list—as an official verdict. Pick around damage, durability, healing, control, PvE or PvP needs, and situational effects; confirm a race’s present availability and ability text in-game before committing rerolls.
