Ubisoft Forward 2024 took place on June 10, with Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows at the center of its gameplay presentations. The event also covered new games, expansions and updates for existing titles; its dates below are the plans Ubisoft announced in 2024, not current release guidance.
What were the biggest Ubisoft Forward 2024 reveals?
The two main gameplay showcases offered contrasting looks at upcoming adventures: Kay Vess’s scoundrel journey in Star Wars Outlaws and the dual-protagonist action of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Star Wars Outlaws: Kay Vess on Tatooine
Ubisoft’s gameplay showcase followed Kay Vess to Tatooine as she sought an expert gunslinger to improve her blaster skills. The footage also showed Mos Eisley. Ubisoft’s 2024 recap listed Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC via Ubisoft Connect as launch platforms, with an August 30, 2024 planned launch. Assassin’s Creed Shadows: two contrasting approaches
The extended gameplay sequence showed Yasuke using direct, powerful combat, while Naoe relied on stealth and tools. Ubisoft also highlighted changing weather and seasons in feudal Japan. Its recap listed November 15, 2024 as the planned launch date. Ubisoft’s event recap.

What new games did Ubisoft announce?
Anno 117: Pax Romana
Announced for 2025, this Roman-era city builder would let players build an empire with structures such as aqueducts and coliseums, then expand to distant shores. The 2025 window was Ubisoft’s announcement at the event. Ubisoft’s event recap.
Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity
Ubisoft announced a social dance game featuring a shared hub called Dancity. Its 2024 event announcement gave October 15 as the planned date and listed Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro and Meta Quest 3. Ubisoft’s event recap.

Monopoly

BattleCore Arena
Ubisoft said its free-to-play PvP platform shooter was available in Early Access on PC through Ubisoft Connect, the Epic Games Store and Steam. This was an Early Access availability announcement, not a new release date. Ubisoft’s event recap.

What updates and expansions were shown?
Prince of Persia
The Lost Crown was set to receive the Mask of Darkness DLC, while its Divine Trials update launched on the day of the event. The Rogue Prince of Persia received its Temple of Fire update, and Ubisoft described a 2025 launch plan. Ubisoft also gave the Sands of Time remake a 2026 release year. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – The Sky Breaker
The first story pack was scheduled for July 16, 2024. Its story centered on a threat during a Na’vi festival and introduced a new area, The Heart of the Plains. Ubisoft’s event recap.

The Crew Motorfest
Ubisoft said Year 2 would begin in November 2024 with Season 5 and the addition of Maui. The island was described as adding over 100 square kilometers of explorable area, a game-world figure from Ubisoft rather than an independently measured statistic. What live-game seasons were announced?
XDefiant Season 1
Ubisoft announced a July 2, 2024 start for Season 1, with the GSK faction, Capture the Flag and three weapons. Three maps—Clubhouse, Daytona and Rockefeller—were slated to roll out monthly. These were the announced plans, not a current schedule. Ubisoft’s event recap.
The Division 2: Year 6 Season 1, First Rogue
Scheduled for June 11, 2024, First Rogue involved Agent Kelso and Aaron Keener. Ubisoft also described a seasonal progression change called Seasons 2.0 and access to Level 40 and past game content without owning Warlords of New York. Ubisoft’s event recap.
When was Ubisoft Forward 2024, and how could viewers watch?
The event was held June 10, 2024. Ubisoft’s preview listed a 30-minute preshow beginning at 11:30 a.m. PDT / 8:30 p.m. CEST, followed by the main broadcast at noon PDT / 9:00 p.m. CEST. Viewing options included Ubisoft.com/Forward, Ubisoft Connect, Twitch and YouTube. Ubisoft listed English subtitles, audio description and American Sign Language among YouTube options. What were the Twitch rewards?
For the 2024 broadcast, viewers watching Ubisoft’s official Twitch channel or eligible co-streams in the Special Events category could earn up to nine game rewards if their Twitch and Ubisoft accounts were linked. Ubisoft listed reward milestones at 15, 20, 30, 45 and 60 minutes, with items for Rainbow Six Siege, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Star Wars Outlaws, XDefiant, Skull and Bones, The Crew Motorfest, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Not every item was a newly revealed game. The showcase mixed gameplay footage for headline titles, announcements of future games and expansions, updates that launched during the event, and plans for live-game seasons. Release dates and windows in this recap are historical statements of what Ubisoft announced in June 2024; they should not be treated as a guide to present-day availability.
