Uncle Lee’s Cookbook: Five Recipes for Disaster launched digitally on Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2026. Developed by Relatively Painless Games and published by DIONOUS GAMES, it is a point-and-click puzzle adventure—not a real-world cookbook.
What kind of game is Uncle Lee’s Cookbook?
Nintendo’s publisher-provided description follows rebellious teen Ines as she deals with the fallout from her uncle Lee’s experiments, inventions, and cooking. It also lists pixel art, witty dialogue, unusual characters, an original soundtrack, and English voice acting. These are details from the store description, not the result of independent play or testing.

How the Switch release compares with the PC release
The Switch edition followed the PC release, which Steam lists as May 12, 2026. Steam identifies the same developer and publisher; its tags include adventure, point-and-click, puzzle, comedy, science fiction, and single-player. Those are PC-store labels and should not be read as a list of features independently specified on Nintendo’s page.
