From there, question the rats, follow Pip’s medicine scent with Wind Sense, defeat the Buddha Flower enemies and free Pip.
How to unlock Underworld Uprising Part II
Complete the Infernal Dungeon Injustice Quest and Underworld Uprising Part I first. Afterward, wait several in-game days, return to Mercyheart Town in Qinghe, and speak with Embroidered Rat outside the Rat Den. Game8 and its Qinghe completion guide give a three-to-four-day wait; GameTrek says its testing took five days. Since the accounts differ, treat the timing as an estimate: if Embroidered Rat does not start the encounter, allow more in-game time to pass and check again.
Underworld Uprising Part II walkthrough
- Start the encounter. Speak to Embroidered Rat outside the Rat Den in Mercyheart Town.
- Ask about Pip. Talk to Barn Rat, Burrowing Rat, and Rafter Rat near the entrance.
- Answer the deduction questions. In the Rat Den, use the clues that Pip had been missing for three or four days, was last around the Rat Den, had been crafting medicine, was with Embroidered Rat, and was last seen by Embroidered Rat. GameTrek’s walkthrough lists these answers.
- Check the old alchemy furnace. Return inside and sniff or inspect the furnace to pick up Pip’s scent.
- Track the medicine scent. Use Wind Sense to follow it toward the village. Inspect Pip Rat’s medicine bag near the stairs and building.
- Eavesdrop on the followers. At the building, listen to the Buddha Flower Followers. Defeat the follower who notices you, then speak with the other follower or villager.
- Follow the villager. Go with the villager to Pip’s location. The guide betrays you, triggering a fight against the Buddha Flower Emissary and the other Buddha Flower enemies. Defeat them.
- Rescue Pip and wrap up. Unlock Pip’s cage and speak to him after the scene. Return to the Rat Den and talk to Rafter Rat and the other rats to complete the encounter.
Underworld Uprising Part II rewards
Game8 and NerdsChalk list the following quest rewards:
- Rat Ally (a Hero Title, according to Game8)
- 25 Echo Jade
- 25 Qinghe Exploration
- 10,000 Character EXP
- 10,000 Coins
NerdsChalk’s walkthrough agrees with that reward list. GameTrek also reports 100 Enlightenment Points, but the other two lists do not include them, so check the in-game reward display rather than assuming they are guaranteed.
