Get Radium Alloy by looting it in Gloomrot or crafting it at a Furnace. The named loot locations are the Trancendum Machine Factory in Gloomrot South and the Trancendum Power Plant in Gloomrot North; mechanical enemies in Gloomrot can also drop it. The listed Furnace recipe makes four Radium Alloy at a time.
Where to find Radium Alloy in Gloomrot
The VRising Wiki lists two locations where Radium Alloy can be looted: the Trancendum Machine Factory in Gloomrot South and the Trancendum Power Plant in Gloomrot North. It also reports that mechanical enemies in Gloomrot can drop the material. The wiki gives a drop chance of “at least a 15% chance,” but this is a community-reported figure, not an official developer statistic or an independently verified current rate. It does not establish an optimal route or compare farming efficiency between the sites.
How to craft Radium Alloy
At a Furnace, combine these materials to produce four Radium Alloy:
- 1 Sludge-filled Canister
- 4 Sulphur
- 60 Tech Scrap
The recipe page also displays alternate quantities of 3 Sludge-filled Canisters, 3 Sulphur, and 45 Tech Scrap, but does not say which settings or conditions make those quantities apply. Check the recipe shown in your game rather than assuming the alternate amounts are universal.

Furnace access and choosing a method
The Advanced Furnace unlock is associated with Ziva the Engineer. The cited item listing does not establish her level, location, or the precise unlock sequence, so those details should not be assumed from this recipe reference.
Choose based on what you already have access to: if the Furnace recipe is available and you have the ingredients, crafting produces four at a time; otherwise, you can search the two named Gloomrot sites and fight mechanical enemies for possible drops. The available references do not establish which method is faster or more efficient.

What Radium Alloy is used for
Radium Alloy appears in recipes or construction requirements for several items and structures, including Power Cores, Obsidian, Major Explosive Boxes, the Ancestral Forge, an Advanced Furnace, and a level-4 Castle Heart. The recipe index also lists the Fabricator as part of Power Core production using Radium Alloy. These requirements make it useful to keep some on hand if you are pursuing those crafts or upgrades.
These item and recipe details come from the community-maintained VRising Wiki Radium Alloy page and its Items/Item Recipes index, not official patch notes. Recipes and loot behavior can change between game versions.
