A community reference to the Operational Manual also describes engraving permits as a way to guarantee certain essence stats. Neither reference establishes exact current interface prompts or button-by-button steps.
How to get the permit
- Open the Valley IV Stock Redistribution terminal in-game.
- Check its available stock for the Valley Engraving Permit and review the current shop text before spending regional currency.
- If the permit is not listed, check again later or consult the terminal’s current in-game information; the permit’s exact unlock conditions and stock schedule are not confirmed by the official update cited here.
The item reference lists purchase through Valley IV Stock Redistribution as the acquisition method. The official game update confirms the regional stock redistribution system, but its specific details concern a different item: the Valley Multi-Line Engraving Kit. A secondary guide reports a rotating stock and prices, but those details are version-sensitive and are not confirmed as current here. Check the live terminal rather than relying on an old price or rotation claim.

How to use it
- Go to a Severe Energy Alluvium site in Valley IV. A community gameplay reference says the activity becomes available after reaching Exploration Level 4; check your in-game map and activity requirements for the current availability.
- Use the permit in connection with weapon essences acquired at that site to pre-engrave stats. The available descriptions establish this function, but not the exact menu sequence or confirmation button.
- Review the resulting essence and its stats in-game. The sources describe guaranteed or pre-engraved stats in general terms and do not establish which exact stats a permit guarantees in every case.
