Riot published the notes on February 18, 2025, and said the update would deploy on February 19. The changes are grouped below by platform; these notes describe version 10.03, not the game’s behavior after later patches.
All-platform changes
Slows now affect dashes consistently
Riot made slow effects consistently slow dashes across the agent ecosystem. The notes specifically call out Chamber, Skye, and Harbor, aligning their behavior with changes Riot had made for Vyse and Concuss effects in patches 9.10 and 9.11.
Minimap visual update
Riot updated the minimap’s visual language to improve gameplay clarity and fidelity, using Icebox as its example. The patch notes do not specify which individual visual elements changed.
All-platform bug fixes
Explosive damage and Sentinel traps
Explosive damaging utility could destroy Sentinel trap abilities, including Vyse’s Arc Rose, from far beyond the intended radius. Riot said the new explosive-damage functionality had been disabled in patches 10.01 and 10.02 while the issue was investigated and fixed. It planned to monitor the changes for further issues that might require toggling the functionality.

Remake-vote screen
Players can now move and use the buy menu while the remake vote screen is displayed. The confirmation button is green and the decline button is red.
Console-only changes
- Players can add and edit notes for Riot friends.
- The friends list can be searched by player name or tag.
- When a party has more than four invites, excess invitations are hidden to keep friends visible; select “Show More” to reveal them.
- Riot fixed incorrect post-game screens for Competitive matches that ended in a remake.
- Riot fixed a leaderboard-navigation issue that could highlight multiple players at once.
PC-only fixes
- Premier tournament-bracket match scores no longer occasionally appear black.
- The Premier bracket is now properly centered on some ultrawide displays.
Patch 10.03 release timing
Riot published the official notes on February 18, 2025, and announced deployment for February 19, one day later than the post date because of a Riot holiday and office closure. Read the official VALORANT patch 10.03 notes for Riot’s full announcement.
