What’s included in Ante Chamber?
Poncle’s official FAQ lists four Balatro characters, four weapons and four weapon evolutions, plus a new music track. The Steam announcement also describes a new stage, Ante Chamber, a remix of Balatro’s main theme, and Survarots: character-themed bonuses that change stats and abilities. How do you unlock Ante Chamber?
- Enter the Moongolow stage and find the special merchant.
- Buy the Joker Disk from the merchant for 50,000 in-game gold coins.
- Follow the resulting unlock chain, which begins in the Ante Chamber stage.
The DLC itself is free; the gold is an in-game requirement for beginning the unlock chain, not a real-money charge. Poncle gives these instructions in its 28 October 2025 release announcement.
Which platforms have the crossover?
Poncle’s current FAQ lists Steam, Xbox, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, Epic Games Store and Apple Arcade as supported platforms for Ante Chamber. The FAQ does not specify different content by platform. See Poncle’s platform and DLC FAQ.

The original Steam announcement gave a staggered launch calendar: Steam, PlayStation and mobile on 28 October 2025, followed by Nintendo Switch and Xbox on 31 October. Those dates describe the launch rollout, not a current release schedule. Steam announcement
What are the co-op rules?
Poncle’s FAQ says Ante Chamber supports local co-op and that any character can be used on any stage. In its launch announcement, Poncle said online use of DLC required every player in the room to own that DLC. That ownership condition is what the announcement stated at launch; it should not be taken as confirmation of the current online co-op rule.

Why did Vampire Survivors and Balatro cross over?
Poncle says Vampire Survivors had previously appeared in Balatro’s Friends of Jimbo 1 cosmetic pack, which replaced face-card portraits with Vampire Survivors characters. Poncle describes Ante Chamber as a thank-you to Balatro creator LocalThunk and publisher Playstack, and says its team enjoyed the game. Poncle’s FAQ
