Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has six playable clans: Brujah, Tremere, Banu Haqim, Ventrue, Toreador, and Lasombra. The clearest official details available here explain the Banu Haqim’s clan perk, Tremere’s chance-based feeding perk, and how clan affinities affect ability-unlock costs for Ventrue. For the other clans, the official overview confirms their names but does not establish comparable gameplay details.
Which clans can you play in Bloodlines 2?
Paradox’s game overview lists six clans: Brujah, Tremere, Banu Haqim, Ventrue, Toreador, and Lasombra. It describes Bloodlines 2 as an action RPG and gives October 21, 2025 as its release date.
The available official descriptions do not provide a complete, like-for-like breakdown of every clan’s abilities, perks, or progression. The distinctions below stick to what is established rather than guessing at missing mechanics.
What is known about each clan?
Brujah
Brujah is one of the six clans named in Paradox’s overview. The official details cited here do not specify the clan’s abilities, perk, or unlock progression.

Tremere
The official Tremere page describes their arcane powers as controlling their own blood and the blood of their foes. Their clan perk gives a chance, when feeding, for the last-used ability to receive twice as much blood. Because the effect is chance-based, it is not a guaranteed bonus on every feed.
Banu Haqim
The official Banu Haqim page characterizes the clan as judges and lawbringers, with many members following a code of conduct. It also explains a progression reward shared as a clan-system rule: reaching the peak of a clan ability tree unlocks a clan perk.
Rank #2
Ventrue
Paradox’s Ventrue highlight says characters can combine abilities from other clans, while affinity affects the cost of unlocking them. Its example is that a Ventrue pays less AP to unlock a Brujah Presence ability than an ability from a discipline they do not already have. This establishes an affinity-based progression advantage, not a complete list of Ventrue abilities or a ranking against other clans.
Toreador and Lasombra
Paradox’s overview confirms Toreador and Lasombra as playable clans, but the cited official material does not give equivalent details about their themes, abilities, perks, or unlock costs.
Rank #3

- Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing.
- Hunt your way through a modern-night Seattle on the brink of an open supernatural war in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire Court of Seattle and its dark underbelly in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.
How to compare clans without assuming more than is known
