For the main story, 1899 is the useful year to compare the Van der Linde gang’s ages. But there is no verified Rockstar chart giving every member an exact age, birthday, and height. A handful of ages circulate as secondary-source figures, while birthdays and most heights are not established in the sources reviewed. What is known about the gang’s ages, birthdays, and heights?

Rockstar’s official Van der Linde Gang character feature is the natural starting point for the roster, and the PlayStation Blog’s September 7, 2018 announcement points readers to Rockstar’s gang introduction. Neither source, as available for this guide, provides a readable, complete table of members’ ages, birth dates, and heights. The Collector’s Edition Official Guide is another relevant reference: GTABase identifies its character gallery as including gang-member portraits and biographies. That does not, by itself, verify a complete set of physical measurements.

Why 1899 is the reference year

The game’s main story takes place in 1899, so ages are most useful when stated against that year. A character’s age may differ in scenes set before or after the main events; an age without a reference year can therefore be ambiguous. The six ages above should be read as secondary-source claims for 1899, not as a set of Rockstar-confirmed statistics.

Are the birthdays and heights canon?

Birthdays

An exact birthday requires a source that gives a month and day, and a birth year is not interchangeable with one. The sources reviewed do not establish exact birthdays for the listed members as a group. Where a date is not stated, supplying one would create false precision.

Heights

Character-model comparisons can suggest relative scale, but they are not the same as an official measurement. The approximate Arthur and Dutch heights in the table are secondary estimates; the material reviewed does not verify an official height list for the gang. Treat other precise heights circulating online with the same caution unless they can be traced to a primary source.
