As of October 4, 2026, the video-game TV slate includes a newly released Among Us series, adaptations with confirmed greenlights or production underway, and many more projects that trackers list without a confirmed release date. The distinction matters: a tracker entry is not proof that a series has been ordered or is actively in production.
How to read this video game TV-show list
Project status can change, and announcements use terms that mean different things. “Released” means episodes have premiered; “greenlit” or “ordered” indicates a formal go-ahead; “in production” describes work underway. A title appearing on a secondary tracker without an official status confirmation belongs in a more tentative category. A year window is not a premiere date.
This roundup is current to October 4, 2026. It separates officially described projects from entries listed by a secondary tracker. Where an official announcement establishes a platform, format, or status, that detail is included; a tracker-only listing should not be read as confirmation of an active production.
Video game adaptations that have already been released
Among Us
Paramount says its animated Among Us series premiered on June 5, 2026, and all 10 episodes are streaming on Paramount+. It has premiered, so it is not an upcoming adaptation.

Why older adaptation lists can be misleading
A title once announced for television may later be paused, canceled, or adapted in another format. A Netflix-focused tracker, for example, reports that plans for The Division were scrapped and that Horizon: Zero Dawn shifted from a series plan to a film. Those changes are a reason not to treat old announcements as evidence that a TV production is still active. This roundup does not include those projects as current TV adaptations.
