Virtuix’s Omni One passed 50 games in 2024; PCVR support later topped 125

Virtuix’s July 2024 announcement took Omni One past 50 games. Its later 125+ PCVR figure counts a different kind of support—and does not mean every game is plug-and-play.

On July 30, 2024, Virtuix announced 15 additions to Omni One’s game lineup, bringing its announced total to more than 50 ahead of a planned September 2024 general release. That is a historical launch-era milestone, not the system’s current library count: Virtuix’s Omni Connect PC release notes dated June 16, 2026, refer to 125+ officially supported PCVR titles. Those figures cover different support claims and should not be treated as a single, directly comparable inventory.

What Virtuix announced in 2024

Virtuix announced the expansion on July 30, 2024. The 15 additions took the announced Omni One lineup past 50 games, ahead of the planned September 2024 general release. GamesBeat reported that Virtuix had already shipped hundreds of units to beta customers. The announcement described titles joining the lineup; it did not establish that every one was playable on the same day, bundled with the hardware, or equally optimized for treadmill movement. GamesBeat’s report

What Omni One is—and why support quality matters

Omni One is a full-body VR locomotion system, not just a headset accessory. Virtuix describes it as combining a 360-degree treadmill, customized headset, hand controllers, foot trackers and special overshoes, with software for its game store and PCVR connectivity. Users move on the treadmill to translate walking, running and crouching into in-game movement. Compatibility and the quality of each game’s setup therefore matter as much as the number of titles. What “supported” means

There is no single library bucket behind every Omni One game count. Virtuix’s support materials describe several routes to play:

  • Omni One store titles: Games distributed through Virtuix’s own ecosystem. Store availability does not mean every title is included with the hardware.
  • Official PCVR profiles: Omni Connect profiles and Steam bindings configure supported SteamVR games to receive Omni movement inputs. Virtuix’s 125+ claim in its PC release notes refers to officially supported titles with game profiles and Steam bindings.
  • Supported Meta games: Some Meta titles can be played with Omni Connect for Quest, following Virtuix’s game-specific setup and calibration steps. This is not automatic support for every Quest game.
  • Custom or manual profiles: Users can configure some games themselves, but that is a workaround rather than official plug-and-play support.
  • Upcoming profiles: Virtuix’s support page lists games it plans to work on. These are not currently supported games and should not be counted as available. The list includes Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 7, Pavlov, SUPERHOT VR, Half-Life 2: VR Mod, Underdogs, Walkabout Mini Golf VR and Titanic VR.

See Virtuix’s supported and upcoming PCVR list for current game-specific instructions.

How the support claim changed

Date or milestone What Virtuix said What the count describes
July 30, 2024 More than 50 titles after 15 additions Announced Omni One lineup ahead of the planned general release, as reported by GamesBeat.
Earlier Omni Connect milestone 50+ officially supported PCVR titles A PCVR support milestone documented in Virtuix’s Omni Connect PC release notes, which include titles such as Population: One, Grimlord, After the Fall, Legendary Tales and Phasmophobia.
June 16, 2026 125+ officially supported titles PCVR games with included profiles and Steam bindings, according to Virtuix’s release notes; it is not an itemized count of every game in the Omni One store, Meta ecosystem and upcoming list combined.

The later PCVR figure shows growth in Virtuix’s supported PC catalog. It does not establish that all titles are sold through one store, included with the system, equally polished, or currently available in every region.

How to set up an officially supported game

PCVR through SteamVR

  1. Install SteamVR before installing Omni Connect. Virtuix says the Omni Connect installer prompts for SteamVR and exits if it is missing.
  2. Install and launch Omni Connect, then connect Omni One and the headset. PCVR also requires a compatible gaming PC; follow the game’s listing for any additional requirements.
  3. Launch the supported game through Omni Connect or Steam, as specified in its instructions.
  4. Confirm the official SteamVR binding or game profile is active.
  5. Once the game has loaded and you are ready to move, calibrate. Keep Omni Connect running while playing.

For game-specific setup, consult Virtuix’s PCVR instructions and Omni Connect release notes.

Supported Meta Quest games

  1. Add Omni Connect for Quest to your Meta library.
  2. Open Omni Connect, go to the Games page, select the game and choose Play.
  3. Apply any required movement settings inside the game.
  4. After loading, click the shoulder button once to calibrate, keeping your head and body facing the same direction.
  5. Recalibrate after removing the headset, starting a new game or noticing directional drift. Leave Omni Connect running while playing.

Virtuix’s Meta game instructions give the current procedure.

When a game is unsupported—or movement feels wrong

Try the official checks first

  • If movement does not work in a PCVR game, check that SteamVR is installed and running, Omni Connect is open, the correct profile and binding are active, and the headset, treadmill and trackers are connected. Check whether the game requires powered controllers, and launch it using the recommended route.
  • If movement points the wrong way, recalibrate after putting the headset back on, starting a new game, turning away from the original orientation or noticing drift.
  • If a supported game feels poorly tuned, check its in-game movement options and Virtuix’s game-specific instructions before editing a profile. Movement multipliers, floor-height settings or a conflict with the game’s own locomotion can affect the result.
  • If a desired title is absent, check the current supported and upcoming lists and whether it runs through SteamVR or Meta. A custom profile may be possible, but it is not a guarantee of compatibility.

Manual PCVR profiles are an advanced workaround

Virtuix’s advanced guide says PCVR profiles are stored at C:ProgramDataVirtuixOmniConnectGameProfile. The procedure involves copying the default profile, renaming it with the game’s Steam App ID and adjusting settings such as movement speed and multipliers. Expect trial and error: movement may be too fast or too slow, a game’s locomotion or controller assumptions may conflict with Omni input, and updates may break custom settings. Use the advanced profile guide only if you are comfortable editing configurations; game-specific official instructions take precedence.

What the library means for a buyer

A bigger compatibility list reduces one early risk for a new hardware platform, but it does not tell you whether Omni One fits your games or setup. Start with a handful of titles you genuinely want to play and verify each one’s current route—store, official PCVR profile, supported Meta game or manual configuration—before buying.

  • Check whether the game is currently playable, rather than merely announced or upcoming, and whether it is sold separately or included in something you plan to use.
  • Look for smooth locomotion compatibility: a game built around teleportation or a different movement system may not benefit from walking on a treadmill.
  • For PCVR, account for a compatible gaming PC, SteamVR, wireless connectivity and extra troubleshooting; official profile support is not universal SteamVR compatibility.
  • Consider multiplayer activity and whether the game’s actual movement style suits the treadmill, not just whether its title appears on a list.
  • Allow for dedicated floor space, clearance around the unit, harness and arm movement, overshoe and tracker setup, and the possibility that long sessions or friction-based movement will take adjustment. People with balance, joint, cardiac or other health concerns should consult a qualified professional before strenuous use.

Virtuix lists a supported user height of approximately 4 feet 4 inches to 6 feet 4 inches. Its product page displayed a price of $2,995 and financing at $104 per month when checked September 28, 2026; pricing, financing eligibility, taxes, shipping and regional availability can change. The product page lists a separate $49 PCVR Bluetooth adapter. Virtuix’s order page lists Omni Online at $14 per month, a three-year extended warranty at $295 (US only), additional overshoes at $99 and a 30-day refund guarantee; check the current terms before ordering. The pages do not establish that Omni Online is required for the games discussed here. Games may also cost extra. Product page and order page

Omni One is a poor fit for someone seeking inexpensive, portable VR, mainly plays seated games, lacks space for the treadmill or expects every VR title to work automatically. For those players, conventional Quest or PCVR keeps VR locomotion in the game’s usual controls and avoids the treadmill setup; the trade-off is giving up physical treadmill-based movement.
