What changed in the revised 2026 edition?
The retailer describes the revised hardback as adding clarifications and adjustments previously published in online FAQ and errata, the core rules for Battle March, and new artwork. If you are choosing between printings, check that the listing explicitly identifies the revised 2026 edition rather than assuming every copy has those additions.
The revised edition is not described as including all Battle March mission material. Some mission rules are in the separately available Battle March: General’s Companion, so check that book’s contents if you need those scenarios.

Do you still need the online FAQ and errata?
Yes, it is worth checking the official document even if you own the revised printing. Games Workshop’s FAQ & Errata – Version 1.5.2 says it gathers amendments to the rulebook and associated Arcane Journals and answers frequently asked questions. The document is revised regularly, and its version number changes when it is revised in full. A printed edition can incorporate earlier changes while later online clarifications or amendments remain relevant.
Version 1.5.2 is the latest version established here, not a guarantee that no later version exists. Check Games Workshop’s current download page for the version in force when you play.

Are there ongoing rules and balance updates?
Yes. In an official article dated 28 January 2026, Games Workshop described clarifications to core rules and armies, including Grand Cathay profile and points changes. It said the studio would continue adjusting profiles, points, characteristics or special rules in response to player feedback and evidence from games. The article planned another update later in 2026, but whether that plan resulted in a later FAQ version is not established here. For current play, consult the versioned FAQ rather than relying only on the text of a printed book. Read the official balance-update article.

If you want a physical core book, look for a listing that clearly identifies the revised 2026 edition and confirm its contents before ordering. The retailer listing gives EAN 9781837792559 for its revised hardback. Compare the edition and product identifier, and decide whether you also need the separate Battle March mission rules. Price, stock and regional availability can change; check the seller’s current listing for those details.
