Warhawk’s Talon is a straight sword in Elden Ring that drops from Warhawks in Stormveil Castle and Castle Sol. Eldenpedia lists a 2% drop chance and a base profile of 101 physical attack, 3.0 weight, and requirements of 10 Strength and 16 Dexterity; those are listed base values, not the weapon’s stats at every upgrade or affinity.
Where to find Warhawk’s Talon
According to the community-maintained Eldenpedia item reference, Warhawks in Stormveil Castle and Castle Sol can drop the sword, with a reported 2% chance. Game8 also identifies Stormveil Warhawks as a source and recommends farming near Rampart Tower.
Stormveil Castle farming route
- Travel to the Rampart Tower Site of Grace in Stormveil Castle.
- Check the castle walls outside the grace for the four Warhawks noted by Eldenpedia.
- Defeat the birds and check for the drop. If the sword does not appear, reset the area and repeat; the reported 2% chance means it may take multiple attempts.
The 2% figure is reported by Eldenpedia, not an independently tested rate. The guides identify Castle Sol as another source, but do not establish a more specific farming route there.
Warhawk’s Talon stats and requirements
Eldenpedia lists the following base profile. Upgrades and affinity changes can alter a weapon’s attack and scaling, so use these values as a starting reference rather than a prediction for a customized sword.

Upgrades, skill, and affinity
Warhawk’s Talon upgrades with regular Smithing Stones. Eldenpedia also says its skill and affinity can be changed, so the listed Spinning Slash skill and D/C scaling describe the base profile rather than a fixed final setup.
There is no single best configuration established by the base profile alone. To compare setups meaningfully, account for your Strength and Dexterity allocation, the chosen affinity and skill, and the weapon’s upgrade level.

The in-game description reproduced by Eldenpedia reads: “Talon-swords are affixed to the legs of Stormveil’s warhawks, but this one has been repurposed for human use. The blade is thin and lightweight so as not to obstruct the hawk’s mobility.” It is a weapon found in Elden Ring, not a consumer sword product.
