Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest, the first official video game based on the Warrior Cats series, launches on October 23, 2026. Trailmark Games is developing the turn-based RPG with Coolabi, with versions planned for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and Xbox Series X|S.
What is Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest?
Clans of the Forest is a story-driven, turn-based role-playing game set in the world of the Warrior Cats books. The game contains four original storylines, one focused on each of the four warrior Clans. Erin Hunter wrote the four narratives exclusively for the game, according to the publisher’s September 1, 2026 announcement.

Four Clan campaigns
Each of the four warrior Clans receives its own storyline. The campaigns are new narratives rather than direct adaptations of a particular book plot, giving players a separate entry point into the setting while retaining familiar characters and places.
