Choose Knight for frontline durability, Mage for healing and team support, or Archer for physical damage and target flexibility. Those are role-fit summaries, not a ranking: the available skill descriptions show distinct toolkits but do not establish which class deals the most damage or performs best overall.
How the three classes differ
| Class | Role shorthand | What its skills include | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Knight | Tank or frontline bruiser | Physical attacks, block-related effects, damage reduction, increased HP, and a shield for the party. | It also has substantial offensive skills; “tank” does not mean damage-free or require a purely defensive build. |
| Mage | Healer-support and magic damage | Magic attacks, healing for an injured ally and the party, shields, removal of negative effects, and damage mitigation. | It is a hybrid toolkit, not a healer-only class. |
| Archer | Physical damage and utility | Single-target, multi-target, and row attacks, plus dispels and selected party benefits triggered by critical strikes. | The skill descriptions do not establish Archer as the highest-DPS class. |
The role descriptions above are based mainly on 7Road’s post-Knighthood skill pages, published in November 2021: Archer, Mage, and Knight. They describe skill effects, not a current comparative performance test.
What does Knight do?
Knight is the clearest fit if you want to stand on the frontline and absorb pressure while still attacking. The 7Road skill list includes Gash, a physical attack; Wrath Strike, with a physical-defense and HP passive; and defensive effects tied to blocking. Fidelity shields the whole party, while Blade Barrier reduces damage received by the party.
The same list also includes attacks against front or back rows and a high-damage single-target attack. Knight therefore fits “tank” as a practical shorthand for its durability tools, but the skill set is not exclusively defensive. The cited page is dated November 8, 2021 and describes skills after Knighthood.

Can Mage heal, and does it deal damage?
Yes. Mage has the broadest documented combination of healing and team utility, alongside magic attacks. Healing Hands restores the party member with the lowest percentage of HP; Brightly Shining heals the party; Frost Ring provides a party shield; and Paradise Carol combines party healing with removal of negative buffs. Passive effects can also heal or cleanse allies.
Its offensive kit includes Thunder-gust and other magic attacks, so choosing Mage does not mean giving up damage. Mage is the strongest role fit for a player who wants healing and support tools in the class kit. 7Road’s skill page is dated November 10, 2021 and covers post-Knighthood skills.

What kind of damage and utility does Archer offer?
Archer’s listed attacks cover different target patterns: Aimed Shot and Fatal Strike hit single targets, while Multi Shot and group or row attacks reach more enemies. Sonic Blast combines damage with dispels. Some passive effects can restore party HP or increase party damage after critical strikes.
That makes Archer a fit for players who prefer physical damage and choices about which enemies to target, with some team utility. The available descriptions do not compare live damage output across classes, so they cannot support a claim that Archer—or any other class—is the top damage dealer. The 7Road page is dated November 10, 2021 and describes post-Knighthood skills.

- Choose Mage if you want healing, shields, cleansing, and magic attacks in one toolkit.
- Choose Archer if you prefer physical attacks across different target patterns and want some dispel or critical-triggered party utility.
These are suggestions based on listed abilities, not measured scores for survivability, damage, or group performance. The 7Road pages are dated 2021, and the available material does not establish how their skill values compare with the current client.

A BlueStacks guide says class selection cannot be changed later, but that restriction is not independently confirmed by a current official rules page in the available sources. Check the class-selection screen or current in-game rules before committing on the assumption that a change will be impossible. The BlueStacks guide also describes playing Wartune Ultra on a PC or laptop with keyboard and mouse; that is an optional platform note, not a requirement for choosing a class: BlueStacks’ Wartune Ultra guide.
