Yes—the November 2025 leak was broadly right that Harry Potter content would come to Fortnite in Chapter 7. Epic later confirmed a Wizarding World promotion featuring Fortnite Shop outfits and accessories, plus a separate, time-limited Chocolate Frog Back Bling reward. But Epic did not announce a Harry Potter Battle Pass, a full Chapter 7 theme, or a map-wide event.
What the Chapter 7 leak claimed
In November 2025, reports said Fortnite leaker SamLeakss had claimed that Harry Potter and SpongeBob collaborations were coming in Chapter 7. GameSpot noted on November 3 that Epic had not announced the Harry Potter collaboration and that its contents were uncertain (GameSpot).
A separate TechJuice report traced the rumor to FortniteLeaks Discord and a repost attributed to leaker @Loolo_WRLD, phrased as “HARRY POTTER X FORTNITE – COMING NEXT CHAPTER!” The report said at the time that Battle Pass status was unclear and that no visuals, cosmetics, or gameplay details had surfaced (TechJuice). Those were uncertainties around the rumor before Epic’s announcement, not details of the final promotion.
What Epic actually announced
On December 11, 2025, Epic Games announced a Harry Potter promotion with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment spanning Fortnite, Rocket League, and the Epic Games Store. For Fortnite, the announcement described two distinct offerings:

| Wizarding World-inspired Outfits and accessories | Featured in the Fortnite Shop later in December 2025. Epic said each Outfit could be customized to represent Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff. | Epic announced the Shop content; current availability or a rerun is not established by that announcement. |
| Chocolate Frog Back Bling | Players had to spend at least two hours in Hogwarts Legacy by December 18, 2025, to earn it. | The earning deadline has passed. The announced playtime promotion is no longer available. |
Epic’s announcement described cosmetics and a cross-promotion—not a full Chapter 7 takeover. Read the official announcement for its details.
What the leak did—and did not—get right
- Broadly right: Harry Potter content did arrive in Fortnite during Chapter 7, as part of Epic’s announced promotion.
- Confirmed content: Wizarding World-inspired Shop outfits and accessories, with four Hogwarts-house customization options, and the limited-time Back Bling reward tied to Hogwarts Legacy playtime.
- Not established: Epic’s announcement does not confirm a Harry Potter Battle Pass, a chapter-wide theme, or a map-wide event. The fact that a collaboration happened is not evidence that those larger features were included.
Can you still earn the Chocolate Frog Back Bling?
No—not through the promotion Epic announced. It required at least two hours of Hogwarts Legacy play by December 18, 2025, and that cutoff has passed. Buying or playing Hogwarts Legacy now should not be treated as a way to earn the Back Bling. Any later return or alternate way to obtain the item would need separate confirmation.

Where the story stands now
The leak is a past rumor that was followed by a real, narrower collaboration announcement—not an upcoming Chapter 7 possibility. Epic’s Fortnite news feed includes later Chapter 7 coverage, including a September 17, 2026 collaboration article, and was listed through October 1, 2026 when reviewed (Epic’s Fortnite news feed). The feed is dynamic, so its contents may change.
