To finish the Waterstop Evocarium in Borderlands 4, interact with the Evocarium terminal, collect the two orbs on nearby rooftops, find the third orb in a hidden lower chamber near the pipes and ladder, then return to the terminal. The terminal’s beams point toward approximate locations, and the third orb is not where the beam seems to lead.
Where Waterstop is
Waterstop is a point of interest in the Coastal Bonescape region of Borderlands 4. One walkthrough places it east of the starting base and northeast of the Splashzone arena. Another describes the Evocarium terminal as sitting on a short bridge in the center of the yard. Both descriptions are consistent with the same area, so if you are looking at the yard and the terminal bridge, you are in the right place.

Clear any nearby enemies before you approach. Enemies can interrupt exploration in the yard, and it is easier to climb and search without being shot at.
Step-by-step solution
- Walk onto the short bridge at the center of the yard and interact with the Evocarium terminal. It reveals the direction of all three orbs as beams.
- Reach the first rooftop orb using the grappling anchor, climbing, jumping, and the glide pack as needed.
- Reach the second rooftop orb with the same traversal tools. Both rooftop orbs are at elevation and are the easier two to collect.
- Search the lower area around the large pipes and the ladder for the hidden chamber. The third orb is below a structure near this area.
- Return to the Evocarium terminal once all three orbs are in your inventory. The terminal interaction completes the Evocarium.

Finding the hidden third orb
The hidden orb is the part of this collectible that most players miss. The terminal beam can seem to point at a locked entrance next to the structure, and it is natural to spend time trying to get through it. Do not treat that entrance as the route to the third orb.

Guides differ on the exact path. One describes a ladder leading into a secret room, while another places the orb in a chamber below the deck. Both descriptions point to the same lower area of large pipes, so search there first, check the ladder, and look around the underside of the deck. If you do not see the orb after a full pass, the walkthroughs do not give a more precise route, so treat this as a search area rather than a fixed path.
Rewards
Evocariums are lore collectibles. Neoseeker states that completing one unlocks an ECHO Log, which appears in the inventory under Eridian, and grants a moderate amount of SDU Tokens. A Waterstop walkthrough gives a specific reward of 15 SDU points, while another source focuses on the message the Evocarium plays rather than a reward amount. The guides available at the time of writing do not agree on the exact figure, so check your SDU total after completion before relying on any number.

The Waterstop Evocarium is not part of a broader puzzle chain, so the solution ends once the terminal interaction completes.
