The right choice depends on which mod slots your weapon supports and what you want to improve: recoil control, steadier dispersion, magazine capacity, reduced noise, or bullet velocity. Treat ranked builds as starting points, then check the current in-game descriptions and values—especially after updates.
How weapon attachments work in ARC Raiders
Weapon mods are in-game items that change a weapon’s characteristics; they are not real-world firearm accessories. A mod only works if it fits a slot supported by that specific weapon. The ARC Raiders community wiki lists muzzle, underbarrel, stock, light magazine, medium magazine, heavy magazine, and tech mods, and advises checking each weapon’s page for compatibility. Because it is a community reference, verify current effects and values in game. See the wiki’s weapon-mod reference.
Embark’s support page places weapon mods in the Raider loadout alongside weapons, armor, ammunition, gadgets, and utilities, but does not rank attachments. Embark’s Raider loadout overview.
Choose a mod by the problem you want to solve
Start with the weapon’s available slots, then decide what matters most for your build. A mod that improves one characteristic may be less useful if your priority is something else; there is no universal winner across weapons or situations.

#1 Best Overall
- Compatible with Windows and Android.
- 1000Hz Polling Rate (for 2.4G and wired connection)
- Hall Effect joysticks and Hall triggers. Wear-resistant metal joystick rings.
- Extra R4/L4 bumpers. Custom button mapping without using software. Turbo function.
- Refined bumpers and D-pad. Light but tactile.
- Recoil control: Consider recoil-oriented options if keeping shots on target is your main concern.
- Dispersion consistency: Look for effects that address dispersion if shot spread is the problem you are trying to manage.
- Magazine capacity: A compatible magazine mod can suit a goal of carrying more rounds before reloading.
- Noise reduction: If reducing weapon noise matters to your approach, compare the compatible mod’s stated effect in game.
- Bullet velocity: Consider velocity-oriented effects when that characteristic is more useful to you than capacity or handling.
These are decision criteria, not a claim that every weapon has each option or that a particular mod produces a specific amount of improvement. Confirm the slot, effect, and any tradeoff shown for your weapon.
Are popular attachment builds worth following?
Use ranked loadouts as recommendations rather than official or universal answers. A June 2026 third-party guide broadly recommends a compensator, stable stock, and extended magazine for many guns, citing effects such as recoil, dispersion, magazine size, noise, and bullet velocity. That is the guide’s editorial recommendation, not an official ranking; check whether those mods fit your weapon and support your goal. Read the June 2026 third-party guide.

Attachment recommendations can become outdated when weapon characteristics or mod effects change. GamesRadar reported on September 23, 2026 that the Frozen Trail update was scheduled for October 8 and would introduce weapon amplification for 15 weapons. That was a pre-release report; the post-launch mechanics and their impact on attachment choices are not established here. Check current in-game descriptions and values before relying on an older build. Read GamesRadar’s September 23, 2026 pre-release report.
