According to the Bee Swarm Simulator Wiki’s “Bees” page, updated September 25, 2026, the reported chance of getting a gifted bee from Royal Jelly or a Basic Egg is 1 in 287. That is a community-wiki figure, not a probability confirmed by an official developer odds table. Other community references report 1 in 250, so the exact rate is disputed.
What are the chances of getting a gifted bee from Royal Jelly or a Basic Egg?
The Bee Swarm Simulator Wiki reports a 1-in-287 chance from either Royal Jelly or a Basic Egg. In percentage terms, that is about 0.35% per attempt. This is a chance for an outcome, not a promise that one gifted bee will appear within 287 uses. Individual results can vary, and the cited page does not establish a guarantee after a certain number of attempts.
Why do some references say 1 in 250?
Another community-wiki search result gives a different figure: 1 in 250 (0.4%) for Royal Jelly or hatching an egg. The available information does not explain whether that difference reflects a changed rate, a different denominator, or inconsistent documentation. No official developer odds table was found to resolve it.

What does “gifted” mean?
A gifted bee is a variant with improved stats and a bee-specific bonus for the hive or player. Gifted hive bonuses vary by bee and do not stack, according to the wiki. Some gifted bees also have gifted abilities, so the value of a gifted result depends on which bee you get and which bonuses your hive already has.
