The small, housecat-like Khajiit are the Alfiq, a diminutive, four-legged Khajiit furstock. They are not the same as the Suthay-raht, sometimes nicknamed “Ja’Khajiit” (“kitten”) by other races.
Which Khajiit are the small ones?
Alfiq are the clearest answer. A lore description reproduced in an ESO forum discussion describes them as diminutive and quadrupedal, resembling common housecats. Despite their appearance, they retain Khajiit intelligence and understand spoken words; the quoted description says they cannot respond.
Why are some Khajiit called “kitten”?
The same discussion says Suthay-raht are broadly similar in height and build to humans, and that other races call them “Ja’Khajiit,” meaning “kitten.” That is a nickname, not evidence that Suthay-raht are literal kittens or the smallest Khajiit. The distinction is between a name used for a group and the Alfiq’s catlike body and small stature.
What does “furstock” mean?
Khajiit lore describes multiple furstocks: different Khajiit forms or breeds. The forum thread attributes an in-character statement to ESO Loremaster Lawrence Schick, speaking as Moon Bishop Hulan, that there are seventeen distinct furstocks. The count is a fictional-world lore detail, not a real-world statistic.

Senche terms are not interchangeable
In the attributed statement, “senche” and “senche-raht” refer to two of the seventeen Khajiit furstocks; senche-raht are described as the largest. “Senche-tiger,” by contrast, refers to more catlike cousins of lesser sentience. The terminology therefore does not make every senche a Khajiit furstock of the same kind.
Does every game show the Alfiq?
The available sources do not establish a complete, reliable list of which furstocks are playable or appear in every Elder Scrolls game. An ESO support article confirms Khajiit-specific options for hairstyles, markings, and adornments, but it does not identify the furstock of characters in each game. Character customization is not a complete guide to Khajiit furstock taxonomy.

An ESO forum discussion records community debate about how different furstocks are represented. Speculation in that discussion should not be treated as an official explanation for why a particular form is or is not shown.

The cited material supports a useful contrast among Alfiq, Suthay-raht, and the senche terms, but it is not a complete reference for all Khajiit forms. It also does not establish an authoritative moon-phase mapping for every furstock. A fan reference discusses lunar influence on Khajiit morphology, while the forum excerpt says Cathay-raht are determined by the Lunar Lattice; those statements do not amount to a full, verified chart.
