Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded was a December 2024 mid-season update, not a new 2026 announcement. Its headline addition was Citadelle des Morts, a round-based Zombies map featuring Elemental Sword Wonder Weapons. Multiplayer also received three map additions: Hacienda, Racket, and the holiday-themed Nuketown variant.
When did Season 1 Reloaded arrive?
Season 01 began on November 14, 2024. Call of Duty Staff published the Season 1 Reloaded notes on December 4, 2024, saying, “Season 01 keeps on giving in the mid-season update. Visit Citadelle des Morts tomorrow!” The notes date the Zombies map’s availability to December 5, 2024. The original headline’s “this week” refers to that December 2024 release window, not the present day. Call of Duty’s Season 01 patch notes and its Season 01 overview provide the dated context.

What did the update add to Zombies?
Citadelle des Morts and the Elemental Swords
Citadelle des Morts is a new round-based map set in an old castle in Avalon. The map brings Elemental Sword Wonder Weapons, tying the swords to the Zombies experience rather than introducing them as general Multiplayer equipment. The official season overview had previewed the castle as the season’s mid-season Zombies map.
Perk, GobbleGums, and enemy
The update also added the Vulture Aid Perk-a-Cola, new GobbleGums, and the Doppelghast enemy. Together with the map and swords, these were the major Zombies additions detailed in the official update notes.

Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
Which Multiplayer maps were added?
The notes list three map additions, with distinct formats. Nuketown Holiday is a seasonal variant of Nuketown, not a wholly new map design.
| Map | Format in the notes | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Hacienda | 6v6 | Multiplayer map addition |
| Racket | 2v2 and 6v6 | Map addition for both listed formats |
| Nuketown Holiday | 6v6 | Holiday-themed Nuketown variant |
These formats and map descriptions are from Call of Duty’s patch notes.

Weapons and conversions
