Who was the Thunderbolts Season Pass card?
Baron Zemo was the season’s Season Pass character. Marvel.com described him as a 3-Cost, 5-Power card. His On Reveal effect recruits the lowest-Cost card from the opponent’s deck to his side of the location. Marvel.com’s April 3, 2024 season article and the official season announcement describe the ability.
The season’s framing focused on villains and misunderstood antiheroes. Marvel.com’s article used the line “They’re not villains, they’re just misunderstood” as editorial copy, rather than as a gameplay description.
When did the season’s cards arrive?

New Series 4 and Series 5 cards were also listed for the Token Shop and Spotlight Caches. The announcement published separate weekly Spotlight Cache lineups; which cards appeared depended on the date. Players could access Spotlight Caches by progressing their Collection Level. This describes the season’s 2024 release plan, not what is currently in those systems.
What locations and albums were announced?
New locations
- Castle Zemo: The first card played there switches sides.
- Thunderbolts Tower: All cards there get -2 Power after turn 5.
Three themed albums
The season announced Villains from 3099, a Dan Hipp Captain Marvel album, and a Kim Jacinto album. Listed milestone rewards included avatars, Credits, Tokens, a cardback, an emote, a Spotlight Cache Key, and variants. The announcement also scheduled shop takeovers on set dates; these were part of the 2024 calendar, not confirmation of current offers.

What were the Thunderbolts Twitch Drops?
The official schedule listed Twitch Drops for April 19–26, 2024, for watching eligible MARVEL SNAP streamers:

The announcement directed players to link their accounts to participate. These were dated promotional rewards; the schedule alone does not show that the Drops are available now.

How did players access the season’s content?
The announcement presented different routes: Baron Zemo through the Season Pass, the weekly Series 5 releases through the dated card schedule and the game’s Spotlight Cache and Token Shop systems, and the Twitch Drops through eligible viewing and account linking. These routes were not interchangeable, and the season announcement does not provide current pricing or enough information to compare their present-day value.
Marvel describes SNAP as a digital collectible card game playable on PC or mobile. Its official game page links to the official Web Shop, which sells in-game content such as Season Passes, bundles, and Gold. The shop is relevant for current in-game purchases, but it does not establish that Thunderbolts-era offers remain available.
