Before the convention, Digital Extremes teased Jade, the Ascension mode and event programming; after TennoLive, Warframe’s recap highlighted Warframe: 1999 and a fall update that was still unnamed. The official reveal-video description also listed The Lotus Eaters and other planned announcements.
What was teased before TennoCon?
In its July 17 pre-event news post, Warframe promoted the July 20 convention and an in-game preview opening at 4:30 p.m. It also announced that TennoCon would host the first official Soulframe Devstream. Warframe’s TennoCon 2024 announcement set expectations for the weekend.
The Devstream 180 recap previewed Jade, described as the 57th Warframe, and Ascension, an upcoming game mode. It also outlined the event schedule and show-floor plans. Those were pre-event previews, not the full set of announcements made at TennoLive.
What did TennoLive announce?
In its July 23 recap, Warframe said TennoLive discussed Warframe: 1999, which was then expected in winter 2024, as well as a separate fall update that had not yet been named. The recap said details on that update would follow at Tokyo Game Show in September. These dates describe the plans reported in 2024, not a current release schedule. The official TennoLive reveal-video description listed The Lotus Eaters, the then-unnamed 2024 update and an animated short for Warframe: 1999. It also named Sevagoth Prime Access, Caliban’s rework and Deluxe Skin, quality-of-life improvements, and Soulframe: Preludes. The description records the announcements and plans as presented in 2024; it should not be read as an up-to-date roadmap.
