How Crosshair V2 works
Rather than changing a game’s own aiming settings, Crosshair V2 places a reticle overlay on top of the game image. The Steam listing describes it as a way to keep a visible aiming marker on screen while playing.
What you can select
CenterPoint Gaming’s Steam listing advertises three reticle sizes, six shapes, and seven high-visibility colors. These are the product options stated on the listing, not a measurement of accuracy or performance.
Where it is listed to work
Steam says Crosshair V2 supports borderless and windowed fullscreen modes. That statement does not establish that the overlay works in every game, in exclusive fullscreen, or across a complete list of titles. Epic Games Store also lists Crosshair V2 as downloadable software, but the available store information does not establish broader compatibility.

Who makes it and what it costs
Steam identifies CenterPoint Gaming as both developer and publisher, gives January 26, 2023 as the release date, and lists the software as free. Availability and store terms can change, so check the current listing before downloading.
What Crosshair V2 does not establish
Promotional claims that a reticle improves aim, response time, or hip-fire accuracy are not independently demonstrated by the available sources. They also do not establish whether a particular game permits third-party overlays or whether its anti-cheat system may flag one. Check the rules for the game you play before using an overlay.

Microsoft documents Xbox Game Bar as a customizable Windows gaming overlay opened with Win+G, with widgets available through a Widget Store. That is general Windows overlay context; the available information does not show that Crosshair V2 depends on Xbox Game Bar.
