How to spot an enemy with E

Center your view generally on an enemy.

Press E on keyboard and mouse. The combat mechanics reference describes the target appearing on radar and receiving a red marker above their head that remains visible through walls. Controller controls and a limitation
The same controls reference maps Spot Enemy to Left Bumper on controller and says spotting cannot be used while sprinting on console. If the button does not respond, check whether you are sprinting and verify the current in-game controls.

Why pressing E marks someone
Spotting is intended to communicate an enemy’s position to teammates: the described radar indication and overhead marker make a target easier to track, including when walls obstruct direct sight. The combat mechanics reference also says a spotter receives 25 points if a teammate kills an enemy they spotted, while a player does not receive that reward for killing their own spotted target. Because the page’s publication date is not shown and the controls reference dates to 2019, treat that reward description as wiki-documented behavior, not a verified current guarantee.

Roblox’s official Phantom Forces listing identifies the experience by StyLiS Studios and displays live update notes, but it does not specify the E-key control. The exact binding and behavior above are documented in community wiki references rather than a current official control guide.
