Contemporary reports said the model resembles Samuel Roukin, Ghost’s voice actor in the game—but Activision has not confirmed that the extracted asset is Ghost’s official canonical face.
What did dataminers find?
In a report published November 24, 2022, PCGamesN said dataminers uncovered a fully rendered head beneath Ghost’s mask in Modern Warfare II multiplayer files. That describes an asset reportedly extracted from the game, not a face reveal announced by Activision. PCGamesN’s report
PCGamesN and ONE Esports described the model as resembling Samuel Roukin, who voiced Ghost in Modern Warfare II. The available reporting establishes a perceived resemblance; it does not establish that the model is a scan of Roukin or that Activision officially identified his face as Ghost’s. How is the file different from the campaign scene?
The campaign teases Ghost removing his mask, but the scene does not clearly show his face: viewers see the back of his head, while a balaclava still obscures his eyes. ONE Esports distinguishes that obscured moment from the more complete head model reportedly found in multiplayer files.
