What Rekindle changes
Rekindle affects Soul Links. After using one, the upgrade shortens the cooldown before you can create another, letting you save again sooner. The available references do not establish a dependable exact cooldown duration.
How Soul Links work
Ori’s quick-start guide explains: “Hold B to use energy to create a Soul Link and save your game!” In other words, creating a Soul Link spends energy and saves your game. Rekindle changes how soon you can use that mechanic again; it does not change the energy cost or turn Soul Links into an attack.
THQ Nordic’s quick-start guide documents the Soul Link’s save function and energy use, but does not describe Rekindle.

Where to find Rekindle
Community-maintained ability references place Rekindle in the Utility branch of the ability tree and list its cost as one Ability Point. These are community-reference details; the official quick-start guide does not document the upgrade tree or Rekindle’s cost.
