How Honey Sprite fits the wider Sprite system
Sprites are not conventional weapons. Epic presents them as “little helpers on the battlefield” that can be found and equipped to provide a special Sprite Power ability. Sprites can level up through exploration, eliminations, and surviving the Storm, but the cited material does not attach a numerical Honey Sprite bonus to those progression activities.

Use sustained ranged pressure
Honey Sprite only has opportunities to trigger when your ranged weapon deals damage. Weapons or situations that let you land multiple damaging hits create more qualifying opportunities than a match in which you rarely connect, but the sources do not provide a probability with which to calculate an expected number of bee spawns.
Place hits where an area effect would matter
Since the bees are tied to the hit location, target placement matters more than standing near the Sprite yourself. A damaging shot on an exposed opponent and a damaging shot in a crowded fight can produce different tactical value, even though both satisfy the same trigger.

Do not plan around a guaranteed proc
Build your weapon and positioning decisions around the weapon’s ordinary damage. Consider bees an occasional additional effect, not a dependable replacement for finishing damage, crowd control, or healing. No published value supports treating the Sprite as a guaranteed damage multiplier.

- The playlist may disable Sprites. Competitive modes do not allow them, according to Epic.
- The hit may not have dealt damage. The trigger requires dealing damage, so a miss, blocked shot, or zero-damage interaction does not satisfy the documented condition.

Equip Honey Sprite in a Sprite-enabled mode, land damage with a ranged weapon, and wait for the chance-based effect to create bees at the impact point. It will not activate on every shot, and Epic does not publish the proc percentage or the bees’ damage and duration in the cited material. Competitive modes disable Sprites entirely.
