Bandai Namco’s official notes describe changes to the fight’s opening, selected attacks, damage, stamina damage, range, and attack-effect visibility—but give no move-by-move list or numerical before-and-after values. The notes call them “Final Boss balance adjustments,” rather than labeling the update a nerf.
What did Patch 1.14 change about Promised Consort Radahn?
Bandai Namco’s Version 1.14 notes list six adjustments to the encounter:

- The action pattern at the start of the battle changed.
- Some attack moves were adjusted.
- Damage from some attacks decreased.
- Stamina damage from some attacks decreased.
- The range of some non-weapon-based attacks decreased.
- The visibility of some attack effects improved.
The notes describe categories of changes, not which individual moves were affected. They do not provide numerical damage, stamina-damage, or range values, so the size of each adjustment cannot be established from the published notes. Bandai Namco’s Version 1.14 patch notes also do not say that every attack was weakened.
Was Radahn nerfed?
In the ordinary sense of the word, yes: the notes explicitly say that damage and stamina damage were decreased for some attacks, and that the range of some non-weapon attacks was reduced. But “inevitable nerf” is an editorial description, not the patch’s official label. The notes also mention an opening-pattern change, adjusted moves, and improved effect visibility; they do not characterize every change as a reduction in difficulty.

Which game version includes the adjustments?
The European patch-notes page lists PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. It identifies the title-screen versions as App Ver. 1.14 and Regulation Ver. 1.14.1. For consoles, Bandai Namco says the regulation file can be downloaded by logging in to the server; if the title screen shows a different regulation version, the notes advise applying the latest regulation.
The European page displays the date “10/09/2024.” The Japanese official notice is dated September 11, 2024, and reports distribution of the update file. Those regional notices establish their own displayed dates, but do not by themselves establish a precise global release-time chronology.

Was there another issue with the update?
In its September 11, 2024 notice, the official Japanese Elden Ring site reported a release-related issue in the DLC area: entering a particular range could trigger a previously viewed movie and move the player character to the Shadow Keep Church District. The notice said the issue would be corrected in the next update and that it would not occur if the relevant movie event had not yet happened. This is a historical report; that notice does not establish whether the issue persists in current versions.
