What happens if you shoot Amita after the scene?
A player discussion describes meeting Amita in Tirtha after the story and says she can be shot once the scene ends. The same discussion reports no gameplay effect afterward. This is community-reported behavior, not a result documented by Ubisoft, so it should not be treated as confirmed for every platform or save state. Read the player discussion.
The sources do not verify that shooting her there unlocks an extra ending, reward, or achievement. The interaction is separate from the leadership outcome established by your earlier story choices.
Why your earlier choices matter
Far Cry 4 has branching outcomes involving whether Amita or Sabal leads the Golden Path. Those choices shape the post-story state, including the fate and possible whereabouts of the other character. A plot summary describes the option to kill or spare the Golden Path leader, but it does not establish the exact mechanics of shooting Amita after the post-story scene. See the plot summary.

Where Amita may appear depends on your route
Do not treat the Tirtha encounter as the only possible post-story location. A separate player report says that, after siding with Sabal and sparing Amita, she can be found at the Sherpa yak enclosure north of Banapur. That report concerns a different route and location; it does not show that every player will encounter her there. Read the separate player report.

Ubisoft describes Far Cry 4 as an open-world game set in Kyrat, but its official page does not document this specific post-story interaction. The details about shooting Amita after the scene and the reported lack of gameplay change come from players, not an official walkthrough or patch note.
