What the Abyss says when you accept

How to check the behavior in your own game
- Save before you reach Septimus Signus’s Outpost, so you can reload and test both answers.
- Accept the offer, note the Abyss’s line word for word, and continue the Dwemer lock-box quest until you can return to it.
- Reload the earlier save, decline, and record the warning text in full.
- Compare the return conversation after opening the box in both runs. If the accepted line matches the quote above, your game version confirms it.
