If you cancel Fortnite Crew before its next billing date, the subscription will not renew and Epic says you will not be charged another subscription fee. You keep rewards you have already earned and Crew content you have already received. What you can still claim from passes depends on your subscription history and, for billing, the platform where you subscribed.
What happens when you cancel Fortnite Crew?
Canceling stops the next renewal; it does not erase rewards already earned or Crew content already received. Epic’s subscription terms say that if you cancel ahead of the next billing date, the subscription will not renew and you will not be charged another subscription fee.
Cancellation does not necessarily end access at the moment you cancel. For newer subscribers, pass-claim access lasts through the current billing period. Check the billing date shown in your account rather than assuming cancellation takes effect immediately.
What you keep—and what access can end
Rewards and content already received
Epic says premium pass rewards you have earned are yours to keep, and you keep Subscription Content received during each month you were subscribed. Epic also says unlocked but unclaimed rewards are automatically claimed at season end. These are separate from the ability to claim future premium rewards after the subscription lapses.

Claiming premium rewards after cancellation
Epic’s current Fortnite Crew page describes premium pass claims as available while the subscription is active. For subscriptions subject to the newer rule, access to claim premium rewards lasts only through the current billing period. If the subscription expires, you should not expect to keep claiming new premium rewards just because the pass season is still underway.
Epic lists the Battle Pass, OG Pass, LEGO Pass, and Music Pass among Crew benefits, but its published material does not give equally detailed post-cancellation timelines for every pass. Use the entitlement and dates shown in your account for those passes; do not assume one pass’s access window applies to all of them.

Battle Pass access depends on when your subscription began
Epic changed its Battle Pass policy on December 1, 2024. The relevant distinction is whether a subscription began before that date and remained uninterrupted, or began later—or lapsed and was restarted.

The policy change and exception are described in Epic’s November 20, 2024 announcement. The exception is about Battle Pass claims; do not use it to infer a particular post-cancellation timeline for every other pass.

How to stop the next Fortnite Crew charge
- Check your billing date. Look in your account or the in-game Passes tab for the next billing date. Cancel before that date if you want to prevent the next renewal.
- Cancel through the platform where you subscribed. If you subscribed directly through Epic, use the cancellation option in your Epic account. If you subscribed through a console or another provider, follow that provider’s subscription-cancellation process instead.
- Verify the cancellation with the billing provider. Confirm that the subscription is set not to renew and check the displayed end date. Third-party billing steps and confirmation can differ from Epic’s.
Epic’s terms say there is no prorated refund for the unused part of a fee after cancellation, except where applicable law requires otherwise. The terms also say Epic will notify subscribers at least 30 days before a subscription fee change.

No future bundle should be treated as guaranteed. Epic says Crew benefits can change, and some benefits may be unavailable on some platforms. If you resubscribe, check the current offer and entitlements rather than assuming the bundle is unchanged.
