If Roblox has banned your account and you believe it was a mistake, check the moderation notice and appeal through the route it provides. Roblox says most appeals must be submitted within 30 days, and an appeal does not guarantee the action will be reversed. First, make sure the restriction is actually on your Roblox account: Error Code 600 means an experience creator banned you from one experience, not Roblox from the platform.
First, identify what kind of ban you received
A platform moderation action and a ban from one Roblox experience are different restrictions. The notice or error message helps identify which one applies.
| Restriction | What it affects | Who to contact |
|---|---|---|
| Roblox account moderation | Can restrict the Roblox account or remove content, depending on the action. | Use the appeal method in the Roblox moderation notice. Roblox’s appeal instructions |
| Experience ban, including Error Code 600 | Access to a particular experience; other experiences and platform features may remain available. | Contact the experience creator. Roblox Support says it cannot remove a creator’s ban or contact the creator for you. Roblox’s Error Code 600 article |
Roblox explicitly says of an Error Code 600 restriction: “This ban is not issued by Roblox.” Its Terms also direct users with creator or game disputes to the creator. Roblox Terms
How to appeal a Roblox account moderation action
- Read the moderation notice. It identifies the action and the available appeal options. Use the route it specifies rather than sending a generic support request in its place.
- Use Violations & Appeals if the notice offers it. Select Appeal, explain briefly why you believe the decision should be reevaluated, and check the appeal status there.
- Use the Support form if the violation is not listed in Violations & Appeals. For an account appeal, Roblox asks for the username and a brief explanation of why the case merits review. Submit it as the account owner, using a valid email address associated with the account. Roblox’s appeal instructions
Roblox’s general Support contact page asks users to provide the username needing help, choose a help category, and describe the issue. For a moderation appeal, follow the dedicated appeal instructions and the route in the notice. Roblox Support

Appeal deadlines and limits
Roblox’s published general deadline is 30 days from the moderation action. The same article says users in the European Union have six months to appeal an initial moderation action. These are different regional deadlines; check the rules that apply to your location in Roblox’s current instructions. Roblox’s appeal instructions
- Only the account owner may appeal, and Roblox requires a valid email address for the account.
- Roblox says a moderation action that has already been reviewed cannot be reviewed again. Duplicate appeals for the same action will not be reviewed.
- For EU users, Roblox describes additional rights under the Digital Services Act, including the option of certified out-of-court dispute settlement and possible judicial redress. Consult the current regional instructions for details.
What an appeal can—and cannot—do
An appeal asks Roblox to take another look. Roblox says its Appeals team may adjust the moderation status, but “Submitting an appeal does not guarantee the consequence will be removed.” There is no official success rate or average review time established here, so neither can be predicted for an individual case.

The action and its duration can vary with the violation, severity, impact, and prior behavior; repeated violations may result in more severe consequences. Those general statements do not reveal why a specific account was moderated. Roblox Community Standards
