The New Denpa Men service ends on December 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. JST. Paid-item sales, including Jewels and packs, stopped on October 5, 2026. Genius Sonority says unused paid currency will be refunded, but it has not yet published the request period or instructions. Record your Support ID and keep the app installed while you wait for the official refund procedure.
What happens to purchases and Jewels?
Genius Sonority says game data, including Jewels and items, will no longer be available after service ends. It will refund the unused paid portion of in-game currency under Article 20, Paragraph 1 of Japan’s Payment Services Act. The notice does not promise refunds for free or earned currency, or for paid currency that has already been spent. See the official end-of-service announcement.

The refund promise concerns unused paid currency; the announcement does not say that purchased items themselves will be refunded. Paid-item sales—including Jewels, Jewel Packs, Value Packs, Stamina Expansion Pack, and Create Pack—ended October 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. JST.

What should you do before the shutdown?
- Record your Support ID. It is required to request a refund. You can find it in Support on the app’s title screen, where it remains viewable through March 31, 2027. The publisher recommends noting it in advance.
- Keep the app installed and its data intact. Genius Sonority says it needs the game data to verify inquiries. Do not delete the app or reinstall it on a new device until the refund procedure is complete.
- Decide whether to spend unused paid Jewels before service ends. The publisher recommends doing so because Jewels and other game data will become unavailable after shutdown. The refund applies to unused paid currency, but the process and eligibility details have not yet been published.
- Check the official website for refund instructions. The publisher says it will announce the request period and procedure after service ends. No deadline, application channel, or payment method has been stated yet.
Can you keep playing after service ends?
The main game requires an online environment; the official FAQ says only Offline Catch can be played offline. Genius Sonority has not announced an offline version or continued access to the main game after shutdown. See the official FAQ and shutdown announcement.

The FAQ says paid currency cannot be transferred between Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. On Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, claimed Jewels and other in-game purchases are shared when using the same Nintendo Account. If connection issues leave paid items unclaimed, the FAQ says to claim them in the version where they were originally purchased. Do not assume balances or unclaimed purchases will move between different platforms. See the official FAQ and Nintendo Switch 2 release information.
