It is not an official Roblox category, and a game with “sus” in its name is not automatically unsafe or against Roblox rules.
What “sus” means in Roblox
“Sus” is shorthand for “suspicious” or “sketchy.” Players use it to describe a Roblox experience that feels off, whether because of its content, its behavior, or simply a bad first impression. A 2025 explainer from CyberPost, “What is a sus game in Roblox?” (published June 2, 2025), describes the term the same way and notes that it has no single fixed meaning. The label can point to content a player dislikes, to suspicious behavior inside the game, or to a general uncomfortable feeling. Because the term is informal, two players can use it to describe very different experiences.
Is “sus” an official Roblox classification?
No. Roblox does not define a “sus game” category or status. The official Roblox Dictionary, which explains certain capitalized terms used in the Roblox Terms, does not define “sus,” and the Terms govern if any definitions conflict. When you see “sus” in a title, treat it as the creator’s or a player’s description, not a platform rating or moderation finding.
Why a title tells you very little
Roblox experiences are often named for effect rather than for what they contain. One example is an official Roblox listing titled “Sus Game 😳😳😳” by the creator @Faller_A, whose description reads only “Sus :)”. That short listing does not reveal the experience’s gameplay, its audience, or whether it is currently running. The page reported no running experiences when it was checked on October 8, 2026, but that status can change, so it should not be read as a lasting fact about the game.

These rules apply to what an experience contains and how people behave in it, not to whether a title uses slang. Roblox can change its standards, so check the official Community Standards page for current wording before relying on a specific rule.
If a game makes you feel unsafe
If an experience appears to break platform rules or makes you feel unsafe, use Roblox’s Report Abuse function. The Community Standards direct users to report content they think may violate the rules or otherwise makes them feel unsafe. Reporting is the appropriate step whether the game is called “sus” or has an ordinary name.

An official statement on imperfect moderation
The Community Standards also acknowledge the limits of enforcement. The page states: “We know we’re not perfect, and even with all our best efforts, sometimes things slip through the cracks.” The statement is presented as Roblox’s own institutional position and does not name an individual speaker. It is a reason to report problems rather than assume that moderation has already caught them.

No reliable figure is available for how many Roblox experiences are described as “sus” or how common such games are. Any article or claim that gives a count for this slang should be treated with caution. Because “sus” has no official definition, the term also cannot be used to rank or compare experiences by category.
