How to craft the Widow Dagger
- Collect Super Spider Venom. The Grounded Wiki lists Black Widow remains as the source. Harvest them to get venom.
- Analyze Super Spider Venom. This is the step that unlocks the Widow Dagger recipe. Until you complete it, the recipe will not appear for crafting.
- Gather the remaining ingredients. You need one Black Widow Fang, three Lint Rope, and four Super Spider Venom in total. See the ingredient breakdown below.
- Craft at a Workbench. Open the Workbench, select the Widow Dagger recipe, and craft it. The finished weapon goes into your inventory.

The gap between 38 land damage and 50 underwater damage makes the dagger notably stronger when you fight in water. The venom effect adds damage over time, but because it does not stack, applying a second dose while the first is active does not increase the total.

Why there is no other Tier 3 dagger to compare
The Grounded Wiki’s weapon list identifies the Widow Dagger as the only Tier 3 dagger, so there is no same-tier dagger to weigh it against. If you are choosing between daggers, you are comparing it with lower-tier options, and the most useful axes are land versus underwater damage, the crafting cost in fangs and venom, and the venom effect.
