What is Dual Front in Rainbow Six Siege X?
Dual Front is a mode within Rainbow Six Siege X, not a separately purchased game. Ubisoft’s roadmap continues to list it as a permanent 6v6 mode, rather than a limited-time event. Ubisoft’s roadmap was updated September 23, 2026.
What makes Dual Front different?
- Six-player teams: The mode is framed as 6v6.
- Respawns: Ubisoft lists respawns among its features.
- In-match events: Events occur during matches.
- A new map: Ubisoft’s roadmap identifies a new map for the mode.

When did Dual Front arrive, and how can you access it?

Is Dual Front a separate game or does it require special gear?
No. Ubisoft describes Dual Front as a game mode in Siege X. The official information identifies access platforms, but does not identify a separate edition, dedicated controller, or required headset for the mode.
