EA’s public financial reports do not identify a single most-profitable game. They report company-wide results and selected franchise metrics, but do not compare profit title by title. The largest game-related figure in the cited disclosures is more than $1 billion in FY25 net bookings for EA’s American Football franchise—a franchise-wide bookings figure, not the profit of one game.
Why EA’s reports do not name a most-profitable game
EA’s FY26 results give company-wide financial outcomes and highlights for selected franchises, but no table of profit by individual game. The disclosures therefore do not support a definitive answer to “What is EA’s most profitable game?” They also do not establish a title-level profit ranking by lifetime, fiscal year, or quarter.

That distinction matters because several figures that might look like clues measure different things. Revenue, net bookings, player counts, sales rankings, and year-over-year momentum are not interchangeable with profit. None of the cited figures provides the title-level costs and earnings needed to compare games on profit.
What EA’s biggest game-related figure actually measures
American Football franchise: more than $1 billion in FY25 net bookings
EA said its American Football franchise exceeded $1 billion in net bookings in FY25. This is the strongest cited game-related financial figure, but it covers a franchise rather than one individual game and measures bookings rather than profit. EA’s FY25 results define net bookings as the net amount of products and services sold digitally or sold-in physically during the period, calculated by adding net revenue to the change in deferred net revenue for online-enabled games.

That figure cannot be used to conclude that a particular football game was EA’s most profitable. It combines a broader franchise scope and a different financial measure from title-level profit.
Why sales and player figures do not settle the question
College Football 25’s sales ranking
In its FY25 Q2 release, EA said College Football 25 was the best-selling HD title in North America through September 2024. That is a dated regional sales ranking, not a profit ranking: it does not disclose the game’s profit or compare it with the profit of EA’s other titles. EA’s FY25 Q2 results also said that EA had three of the top ten HD bestsellers in North America.

The Sims 4 player growth
The same FY25 Q2 release said more than 15 million players joined The Sims 4 over the prior year and that increased engagement drove higher-than-expected net bookings for the franchise in that quarter. Those are player and franchise-bookings indicators, not a measure of The Sims 4’s profit or proof that it out-earned another EA game.
What current franchise momentum can—and cannot—show
EA’s FY26 results reported positive momentum in Global Football and Apex Legends. That is useful context about current performance, but momentum is a growth statement, not an absolute title-level profit comparison. The release does not name either as EA’s most-profitable game.

In its FY25 Q2 release, CEO Andrew Wilson described “record Q2 net bookings” driven by EA’s portfolio and technology leadership. That comment concerns company performance; it does not name a most-profitable title.

A reliable answer would require comparable profit figures for individual games, measured over the same period and on the same basis. EA’s cited public results do not provide that comparison. A franchise-wide bookings total, a regional bestseller ranking, or a player-growth statistic cannot fill the gap.
