Steam describes the environments as procedurally generated. The developer says levels cannot be replayed or selected through the usual level-selection interface, so the game is structured around progressing through the levels it serves rather than choosing a particular stage to revisit.
What do you do in Endlight?
- Fly through the level. Navigate the environment and collect hoops while avoiding or breaking through obstacles.
- Collect 10 hoops. Hoops provide shields, which let you smash through obstacles.
- Reach the next level. Once you have the required hoops, proceed onward and repeat the loop.
As the Steam description puts it: “Hoops give you shields, shields let you smash, smashing leads to hoops.” That exchange between collecting, shielding and smashing is the central mechanic: obstacles are not only hazards to avoid but also things you can break through when shielded.

How many levels does Endlight have?
Bigpants reported more than 650 levels after the release of Season 20, which it called the final season, in September 2025. This is the developer’s reported total. Steam also lists “40+ hours” as a minimum playtime claim from the developer; it is not an independently measured completion time, and the actual time will depend on how a player progresses.
Can you play Endlight with a controller?
Yes. Steam lists controller support, including Xbox controllers. Keyboard and mouse are also listed as control options in the game description, so a controller is optional rather than required. No particular controller model is identified as necessary.

When did Endlight launch, and is it still receiving seasons?
