Palland is a survival, building, and exploration game listed for Nintendo Switch and published by BoggySoft. Nintendo gives its release date as July 31, 2025. Nintendo Life and GamesRadar+ have compared it with Palworld, but “ripoff” is their media framing—not an established legal finding or Nintendo’s description.
What is Palland?
Nintendo’s US store listing identifies Palland as Nintendo Switch software published by BoggySoft. Nintendo describes it as a survival, building, and exploration game. Its publisher-provided description advertises base building, resource gathering, survival management, quests, exploration, and encounters with wild creatures; it also mentions three maps, rare crystals, and essences. Those are advertised features, not independently verified gameplay findings.
Nintendo’s US listing gives July 31, 2025 as the release date, and the UK listing gives the same date. Store details can vary by region or change over time.
Why is Palland being compared with Palworld?
Nintendo Life used “rip-off” in its headline and presented Palland as a Palworld-like game on the Switch eShop. GamesRadar+ pointed to perceived similarities in the name, character and creature designs, and survival gameplay. That explains the comparison, but it does not establish that the games are identical or that a legal authority has ruled on Palland.

What does the official listing say about the Switch version?
The Nintendo US product page lists a 1.6 GB file size, single-system play, TV, tabletop, and handheld modes, and a Fantasy Violence rating. It presents Palland as downloadable Switch software; the sources cited here do not establish a physical game-card edition.
If you want to play it and do not already have a compatible system, a Nintendo Switch console is the practical hardware requirement. The game itself is listed as a digital download, not as a physical product.

What can—and can’t—be concluded from the comparison?
The available information supports a limited comparison: Palland is advertised around survival, building, exploration, resources, creatures, and quests, while media coverage has described visual and gameplay resemblances to Palworld. It does not establish a detailed, independently tested feature-by-feature comparison, or support conclusions about which game plays better, performs better, or has the same mechanics.
Likewise, “ripoff” should be read as a headline characterization of perceived similarities. The cited coverage and Nintendo store pages do not establish that Pocketpair, Nintendo, or a court has formally determined Palland to be a copy.
