If you mean a sword to use in raids, choose for your build and activity; if you mean a sword dropped by a Raid Boss, Hallow Scythe and Spikey Trident are two options. For sword-main PvP, the Shark Anchor is a conditional pick—not an official or tested overall winner.
First, what do you mean by “raid sword”?
The phrase can refer to a sword you use while completing raids, a sword that drops from a Raid Boss, or a PvP sword connected to farming a powerful sea encounter. Those are different questions, so the answer depends on your goal.
- Best sword to use in raids: compare swords by your build, mastery, moves, reach, upgrades, and enchantments. The Blox Fruits Swords Guide, updated August 7, 2026, recommends choosing by role and activity rather than naming one sword for every situation.
- Best sword dropped by a Raid Boss: Hallow Scythe and Spikey Trident are relevant options, but the sources do not establish an all-purpose ranking between them.
- Best for sword-main PvP: the Shark Anchor page describes it as an excellent PvP choice for sword mains. That is a community-wiki characterization, not a controlled comparison or an official tier ranking.
How the three swords compare
| Sword | Reported acquisition | What the evidence supports | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shark Anchor | Use Monster Magnet, then defeat Anchor Terrorshark in the Third Sea. | A conditional PvP option for sword mains, according to its community-wiki item page, updated September 27, 2026. | No controlled comparison or official ranking that makes it the best sword for raids. |
| Hallow Scythe | The community-wiki Raid Bosses page, updated October 6, 2026, reports a 5% drop chance from Soul Reaper at Haunted Castle. It says Soul Reaper is summoned using Hallow Essence. | A Raid Boss drop with a reported low chance; potentially relevant if you specifically want a sword from a boss. | The reported drop chance is not independently verified here, and it does not show how the sword compares in raid performance. |
| Spikey Trident | The same Raid Bosses page reports a 10% drop chance from Cake Prince and lists Dough King as another source. It describes summoning Cake Prince through an enemy-count quest and Dough King through a similar route that additionally requires Sweet Chalice. | An alternative Raid Boss sword with a reported Cake Prince drop chance. | The reported rate and encounter steps do not establish that it is better or worse than Hallow Scythe for every build or activity. |
The separate Swords page, updated September 24, 2026, covers sword categories and acquisition. These are community-wiki sources rather than official developer documentation; check the current in-game requirements after updates because drop rates and encounter steps can change.
Which one should you pursue?
If your goal is sword-main PvP
Shark Anchor is the clearest conditional recommendation in the sources reviewed: its item page calls it an excellent PvP choice for sword mains. Treat that as a role-specific suggestion, not proof that it is the strongest sword overall or the best weapon for raid completion.

If you want a sword from a Raid Boss
Choose between farming Hallow Scythe from Soul Reaper or pursuing Spikey Trident from Cake Prince or Dough King. The cited community-wiki page reports a 5% Soul Reaper chance for Hallow Scythe and a 10% Cake Prince chance for Spikey Trident. Those figures describe reported drops, not guaranteed outcomes; the cited page does not provide a comparable Dough King chance.
If you want a sword to use in raids
Do not choose solely because a sword comes from a Raid Boss. Compare the moves and reach that suit your play, along with upgrades, enchantments, and your build. The sword guide distinguishes activities such as grinding, bosses, and PvP rather than recommending one sword for every role.

Why mastery and build change the answer
Mastery affects a sword’s practical value: the community-wiki Mastery page, updated October 3, 2026, says it unlocks moves and increases damage. A sword comparison that ignores mastery and build can therefore give a misleading answer. Consider what moves you can access and how the sword fits the activity you actually play.

Bottom line by goal
- Sword-main PvP: Shark Anchor is a supported, conditional pick—not a universal winner.
- Raid Boss drop: Hallow Scythe and Spikey Trident are both relevant; reported drop chances alone do not establish which is better.
- Raid completion: choose around your role, build, and available mastery rather than assuming a boss-reward sword is automatically best.
