The blue checkmark beside a Roblox profile name is the Verified Badge. Roblox says it confirms that an account is authentic and meets its notability criteria. A blue mark elsewhere in the app can mean something different, so check where it appears.
Identify the symbol by its location

What the Verified Badge does—and does not—mean
Roblox says it confirms that an account belongs to the person or group it represents and meets the platform’s notability criteria. It is a marker of authenticity and notability, not a guarantee that an account is safe or trustworthy in every interaction.
- It is not an endorsement. Roblox explicitly says a verified badge does not imply endorsement by the company.
- It does not boost discovery. Roblox says the badge will not affect search or recommendations for new or unverified creators.
Who can qualify for a Verified Badge?
Roblox’s criteria vary by account type and include notability, authenticity, account security, and recent activity. The official FAQ describes different thresholds for brands and figures, experience developers, and avatar item creators. It also requires account owners to complete ID verification, enable Authenticator, and have been active within the prior 180 days. Because eligibility thresholds and program details can change, consult the current Roblox Verified Badge FAQ for the requirements that apply to your account.
How eligible creators receive the badge
Roblox says creators do not apply: eligible creators are notified and badges are issued automatically, with issuance occurring monthly. Brand partners such as celebrities or well-known brands should contact their Roblox partnership contact to start the process.

Can the badge be removed?
Roblox says changing an account’s username or display name, or disabling Authenticator, can remove the badge. Violations and attempts to sell or spoof the badge can also result in revocation. If you believe your badge was removed by mistake, Roblox directs you to Customer Support through its Verified Badge FAQ.
