Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

Standard and Deluxe Collection include the same listed core: Minecraft: Java Edition, Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, and the Minecraft Launcher. Deluxe adds 700 Minecoins, three Bedrock add-ons, and three exclusive Character Creator items. Those extras are for Bedrock, not Java.
What is the difference between Minecraft base game and Deluxe Collection?
The difference is bundled content, not a different or upgraded core game. The official PC store labels its entry-level package Standard Edition; “base game” is a useful shorthand for that option. Both packages list Java Edition, Bedrock Edition, and the Launcher.
| PC store package | Core contents | Included extras |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | Minecraft: Java Edition, Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, and Minecraft Launcher | No bundle extras listed |
| Deluxe Collection | Minecraft: Java Edition, Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, and Minecraft Launcher | 700 Minecoins; Celebration Food, Rescue Dogs, and Plenty O’ Blocks add-ons; three exclusive Character Creator items |
These are the contents displayed for the PC packages on the official Minecraft Deluxe Collection store page. The store says the Minecoins, add-ons, and Character Creator items require a Microsoft account and Bedrock Edition, and are not supported in Java Edition.
What does Minecraft Deluxe include?
700 Minecoins
Deluxe includes 700 Minecoins, the in-game currency used for eligible Marketplace purchases. The bundle does not make those purchases usable in Java Edition.

- Plenty O’ Blocks
Three exclusive Character Creator items
The package includes three exclusive cosmetics for Bedrock’s Character Creator. They are add-ons to the Bedrock experience, not Java features.
Do Java and Bedrock work differently in Standard and Deluxe?
No. The edition differences apply to both PC packages, because both list Java and Bedrock. Bedrock supports cross-play across supported PC, console, and mobile platforms; Java multiplayer is with Java players on Windows, Mac, and Linux. To play together, choose the edition your friends use and check whether their platform is supported. Minecraft’s official Java and Bedrock overview compares the editions.

- Cross platform play for up to five players between Pocket Edition and Windows 10
- Revamped touch controls, controller support, and a controller mapping screen

The editions also differ in content and controls. Minecraft’s official comparison associates Java with mods and Bedrock with the Marketplace, downloadable content, and add-ons; it lists controller and touch support for Bedrock, while Java is described as PC-oriented. Check the current comparison for your specific device or controller needs. These are edition distinctions, not Deluxe upgrades.
Is Minecraft Deluxe worth it?
Deluxe is relevant if you play Bedrock and want the included Marketplace currency, add-ons, and character items. If you only want the listed core game, Standard includes both editions and the Launcher. Whether Deluxe is a good value depends on the current price difference in your region and whether you would use its Bedrock extras; compare the live checkout prices rather than assuming the bundle saves money.

Compare the live listing if considering Ultimate.

No. The store identifies Marketplace Pass and Realms as separately sold services, not Deluxe inclusions. Online console multiplayer may also require a separate subscription from the console platform.
